The guys on 247's Crystal Ball feature get it right 90-95% of the time. So they're probably right, but it's not guaranteed.

To be sure, a handful of those (maybe even a bunch of them), they hear directly from the player/player's family just before they announce publicly, so there's no chance they get it wrong in those cases. Maybe they only get it right 70ish% of the time when they are guessing. At least, that's what I'm hoping. And it does seem to me like they are guessing in this case.
I would buy into the guess theory, but, three of them in one day seems more like information.
Sometimes one expert makes a prediction and others rush to herd around that “guess”. I think it’s fair to say though that Villanova makes a ton of sense. You get a great education, the chance to compete for national championships, a great coach, and Nova has had recent success with similar players (Arcidiacano).

A new update that reports Chris Ford as wanting to commit "soon" and having offers currently from us and Robert Morris. Of course I have no idea what time frame soon means and maybe thats intentionally vague to see if some of the many other schools that expressed interest extend an offer, but it would be nice to see a decision, hopefully one that brings him to Davidson.

Does anyone have a highlight video on Ford?

Strange bad news from Poca. Jason Cuffee was 1st team all state in FB and BB about 9 years ago. He played basketball at Wright State before returning closer to home to play at Cedarville. He passed away while on duty as a Charleston fire fighter. It is unclear what medical situation caused his death. When young, apparently healthy, people die it always creeps me out. It goes against the natural order.

Isaac McNeely posted that as a little kid he wanted to be Jason Cuffee.

You beat me to it by a few minutes RichmondCat! Seems like we are casting a wider net than usual, at least among the top 100-150 prospects for 2020. Or maybe our interest in those players is just more likely to be reported in the twitter era.

Hopefully Iffy Ufochukwu stays under the radar. I could see him picking up some high major offers, especially as he gets more experience playing basketball.

If Chris decided to attend Davidson because he wanted to become a minister and study in our Religion department, he would be Chris "Praying" Mantis.

The shots he was putting up from Neverland indicates that he firmly believes in answered prayers.
