That's a good win for the A10. UMass's Sagarin rating was 144 this morning. Providence's was 64.
The A10 had crept up to 10th among conferences. Beating #64 will pull the conference closer to 9th.
Mason beat Madison tonight. That keeps us from dropping any.
There are several games where the A10 is the underdog tomorrow. An upset or 3 will help the conference's rating to improve some more. |

Rhode Island won. They had to be favored over Holy Cross.
St. Joe's is losing to Villanova. Fordham is ahead of Rutgers. That would be a nice win for Davidson because we play Fordham twice. |

Fordham beat Rutgers. That's a big win. Rutgers's Sagarin rating was 64 before that game. Fordham is 7-2, so they've followed the A10's scheduling edicts. They played a crummy schedule, largely at home, and have won a high percentage of their games.
St. Joe's lost to Villanova. Charlie Brown is great, according to the announcers. |

Charlie Brown didn't play because of injury. Frustrating, would've helped a lot. |
