Thanks for the info on Ekwu. Nice to see that we are getting such quality performances from our front-court that each of them will have to fight for court time. |

The Observer website thinks I have used up all my free "peeks" at their rag for the month (even though it is only Dec. 5) , and my wife is too tight to let me subscribe. Can someone steal the relevant quotes and post them here? _________________ “Yeah, well, you know, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.†— Jeff Bridges as The Dude in "The Big Lebowski" |

"Wildcats forward Nathan Ekwu rested a sore knee and didn’t play. McKillop said Grady has a touch of bursitis in one of his knees and has had limited practice time recently." |

Maybe it is a product of not buying enough lights and having to run the inadequate number of lights too hard. It has only happened at 2 home games so far. When it happened at the ladies' game, there wasn't even enough time for people to try to light the arena with cell phones. _________________ "McKillop is a gentleman. Two separate sentences, one regarding Nate's knee; the other, Kellan's bursitis. |

To the more critical members of our board:
To begin, I will admit that many of your observations are perceptive and essentially right. My point though is that we need to be realistic about the DU team. We are going to be flawed, we do not have and likely will never have (again) a team that will consist of top rated athletes that can go toe to toe with the best teams in the country. What we do have is a hard working group, extremely well coached, each of whom is deficient in some area (with 1 or 2 exceptions) but in the aggregate greater than the sum of their parts. Usually we start slow, but the coaching brings it together and we finish strong. However, this team is 8-1, a strong start.
I like enjoying the somewhat unexpected record. I like emphasizing the positive things and there are many in the 2018-2019 Cats. We could be very dangerous. Very dangerous. So yes we're not going to win the National Championship, but I don't think many teams are going to want to play us. And that makes me happy. |

I'm giddy about this team. Well ahead of expectations, and that's without Mike Jones, few minutes for NBY, and multiple players still limited by injury. This is often the time of year where we make a great leap forward. The A10 will see a much better team than our OOC opponents have seen. That should worry them. _________________ "McKillop is a gentleman. He could have played 'name that score' if he so desired."---St Joe's fan |

For Sink to be "giddy" is really saying something. If he likes what he sees at this point in the season, then I'll be giddy, too. And I like and agree with what CA said in his most recent post. _________________ “Yeah, well, you know, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.†— Jeff Bridges as The Dude in "The Big Lebowski" |

Winslow?
Dallion Johnson, Justice Ajogbor and Myles Stute I would imagine are high priorities.
I think Ben Carlson has sights set elsewhere (but would love to be wrong). |
