UNCC is having some difficulty finding a new football coach. They thought Mike Houston of James Madison was going to accept their offer, but he told them there were other openings he was considering.
Houston's "acceptance" of the UNCC job was leaked on the internet. ECU fired Scottie Montgomery shortly thereafter. JMU is still in the FCS playoffs, playing Colgate today.
This is not as embarrassing as having Larry Brown, Gary Walters, and John Kresse accept the basketball job and move into the coach's office, but it is not a happy time off Concord Road. |

JMU out of FCS playoffs. All seeded teams safely into the quarterfinals. Kennesaw a near upset by Terriers. |
