Lots of fouls. Reminds me on 1973 game at Furman. 79 fouls total in that game. |

Brain flatulence.
This is a good win. First true road game, hostile gym, unfriendly refs. I think, although there were bad stretches and some smelly individual performances, we got better again tonight. _________________ "There ain't no sanity clause!" Chico Marx |

But didn't we lose the 73 game at Furman? |

Two cents
1. We still win ugly and that is a good thing.
2. If we ever start hitting on all cylinders, we could be a top 20 team.
3. JAG has learned how to finish his layups.
4. Grady has his game back but he looks like he doesn't want the spotlight.
5. Luka is a beast
6. If we are having trouble defending a team with a 6'7 big man, we better work a lot harder on our D.
7. Our attendance has been lacking because we just don't utilize the "fan cam" enough. _________________ "They were energized by this move to the A-10. How could you not be?" McKillop said. "The tree is filled with a lot of presents." |

Shooting with everything square to the basket and a 4 point lead with 15 sec on the shot clock and 1:15 left in the game is a good shot.
Shooting a turnaround 3 with a 4 point lead, 15 seconds left on the shot clock and 37 seconds left in the game isn’t.
I’d prefer for us to run the clock down to 7 and let Kellan or JAG drive. KP made a huge offensive rebound, so it doesn’t matter.
Good gutsy road win. _________________ This is a post by BDF, not BDL. |

I'm tending to agree, and almost posted same earlier. |
I'm sure we'd love him if he was on our team, but I agree. He's a jerk on the court. |
Uh, no. When we beat them at our place last year, he reminded me of a taller and less-talented Kyle Hines. Very good inside of 5 feet, almost useless outside of it. I saw the same tonight. If you are going to go as far as a guy like Cacok can take you, you'll not go far. _________________ "McKillop is a gentleman. Excellent win in our first true road game. Overcame plenty of adversity. Coaches were brilliant, especially in their use of Bates Jones. We weathered some fine shooting in the first half by the Seahawks. Massey had us winning by 8. Strong finish. Seahawks' last lead was 68-70. _________________ "McKillop is a gentleman. 7-1 with 3 pretty good wins is an excellent way to start the year. That being said, I would be hard pressed to say that we are "good" right now. There's a lot to work on before the critical Temple, Wake, and UNC games.

This is a team that refuses to lose - great character and great T.C.C., so fun to watch. Coach clearly loves this team, saying in post game interview that the win was one of the best of his career at DU.
As to Cacok, right near the end of the game he fouled someone, fell to the floor and KG appeared to go over to him and then step over him (almost looked like taunting). Do not know if appearances were deceiving in this instance, but it did seem like Cacok almost made Kellan lose his composure. _________________ All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for men of good will to do nothing. The Seahawks got a ton of o rebs, were on fire from 3 late, and led with 5:16 to go. Cats still win by 6. These Cats are not always silky smooth, but they are really tough about winning at the end of games. You gotta love that.
I really hope 5-10 is the kind of shooting we see from Luke the rest of the year. I hope he has his confidence back now. |

He got under the team's skin (including Coach) and RichmondCat's. But, he also lost. |
