Was that the last time we played the same opponent two games in a row? We blew out VMI in our home finale and they beat us badly in our SoCon Tourney opener and closer.
In hindsight, they mailed it in in the regular season game. We became over confident. |

I believe it was in 2010. Elon in 2OT, aka Rossiter miracle, to end the regular season, then we lost to Elon in the SoCon first round in Charlotte. |

I had forgotten that game. Years of therapy down the drain.
We were up late and hit a big man in front of the hole for a dunk. Rather than dunk, he carefully tried to lay it in. It missed. They got the rebound and went on a run.
Several of us had been lobbying for us to play in Bojangle's Coliseum. We haven't been back.
*I have been to a hockey match or two there since. |

Okay, I looked it up to be sure. 2011. We ended the regular season with a win over UNCG, then lost in the first round of SoCon. |

This will be the 4th time in 16 seasons. Let's break the Win-Lose streak. With Win-Win. |

A big "tu salud" to all who have forgotten that UNCG SoCon tournament game. I'd appreciate some pointers on how to join you.
A part of me wants to think that one motivating factor for playing in the ball point pen tournament was to make sure that UNCG game wasn't the one on which to end the season. Pretty sure Cats were under 25% from the floor. |

18 for 75. I hadn't forgotten that because I never knew that fact. I couldn't get to Chattanooga for that game due to work obligations and then didn't have to worry about the later rounds.
I was one of the brave 989 at the JMU game. That was #2 of our non-NCAA post season games against Virginia schools who check out early when the going gets tough. #1 was our win at VCU in 2005. |

I'm no wizard, but I thought we had a Georgia Southern double, with the second of the two in Asheville? |

What might make this pair unique is that both Northeastern games are part of the same tournament.

Not including 2008, when's the last time we went 3-1 in a tournament? Or 2-2 in a tournament? _________________ ...coming out of the murky, dreary jungle of untutored mediocrity. |

That big man went on to have a decent career, if memory serves _________________ Carthago delenda est
