From what I've heard, the last football coach often scheduled team events during basketball games. That, and apparently Phi Delt got in trouble a few years back and has subsequently done less overall. |

We shouldn't overlook the fact that he is darn good bringing the ball down the court. I never worry about pressure getting to him. _________________ "They were energized by this move to the A-10. How could you not be?" McKillop said. "The tree is filled with a lot of presents." |

What a difference a game makes - contrary to last time, Coach in his post game interview could not have been more complimentary - Luke's best performance as a 'Cat, good things happen when Luka touches ball, JAG does it all and double assist to turnover ratio shows this team is learning how to play together. 6-1 feels real special right about now. _________________ All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for men of good will to do nothing. When I just started in the ol law game one of my first clients was a 40ish year old lady, a “cougar†in today’s parlance, who ran a yoga studio and was dating a Wachovia banker. She had recently seperated from her husband, who worked a blue collar job and although though was only 40 looked 55 from working outside his whole life. He had shown up at her work and threatened everyone he could find with violence. When I talked to her she told me that they started dating in high school. He was on the football team, she was a cheerleader. Metiohorical homecoming king and queen (possible for realz too, details are hazy). However they went in opposite directions as time went on. She showed up in court in a new bmw, he showed up with his new girlfriend, who was on the wrong side of 200 lbs. He couldnt understand how his world had changed
For me this is the niners. For a LONG time they were on another level than us. Better team, better confrence, better arena. Sure occasionally we had Peter Anderer Eurasian fire and stole a game, but that didn’t change the reality that they would go to play a ranked Cincinnati team while we played in front of 750 disinterested cadets at the citadel. The something (or something’s) happened. They bungled things with Bobby lutz. They put all their focus on football (with an arrogance that they were far too good for app state or the like). They completely screwed the pooch with confrence shuffles. Meanwhile we took our lightening in a bottle to pull ourselves up by the bootstraps to the A10, a league the niners were once in as well. Now here we are. The ninernation crowd is too busy blaming the some combination of the observer, the uncsystem, Judy rose, and others for their own students and alumni’s lack of engagement. They still think this is 2003 and they are rollling off 5 straight NCAA tourney appriances. And they look at us like mecklenburg county’s little brother. Meanwhile, I am secure in the knowledge that their freshman #30 is probably wearing that number in deference to a davidson alumni
ps: I waited untill after the game to post this as I have battered spouse syndrome with the niners due to the years 1996-2006, inclusive _________________ If anyone disagrees with anything I say, I am quite prepared not only to retract it, but also to deny under oath that I ever said it |

Charlotte really stunk and I have no idea how a they beat a Big 12 team. At one point I asked Ron Sanchez if Oklahoma State only dressed 3 players. Their fans thought it was funny. He didn't hear probably.
