Subject: Wofford 81, South Carolina 61
Nathan Hoover on fire for the Ankle-Biters:30 points w/9 three-pointers.
Still, Wofford should not be competitive with the Cocks. The Gamecocks this year are the classic example of a team that is less than the sum of its parts; no chemistry at all. And Coach Martin has been strangely impassive. It looks to be a long year for the Cocks.

I respectfully disagree. Wofford has a decent program and threatened to take down UNC earlier in the year and were also competitive with Oklahoma. I agree that is an upset but mostly bc Wofford had to play on the road.

I was not disrespecting Wofford. My intent was to point out how far below their talent level the Cocks are playing this year.

Wofford, UNCG, and Furman.... thats a very impressive conference leading trio. I would argue that all three are maybe at-large bid quality (even none will get an at-large bid) and would finish top 6 in the A10. |
