Cats on the wrong end of a SportsCenter Top 10 highlight. NU's Green dunk at #9. Slow day for highlights?

It is a shame that people restrained the UTEP coaches in this game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZysiJrTLLQ

We would have had a nicer game without Jeb Hartness. That guy was as clueless as any ref I've seen.

Luke has made it his twitter profile pic, which I thinks shows great humility and sense of humor.

We may have a twitter celebrity in the making.

Regarding the game, some very good things:

JAG using his left hand on a drive, almost fell out of my chair. It was not an easy little hook either, he must have worked on it during the off season. He missed two reverse right handed layups, maybe the left hand is the solution?

Luka's 3, combined with his 2 forceful thrustings of the ball through the hoop is a great sign. A double double in his 4th game isn't bad either.

CC is a bit of a revelation to me. In addition to his D, he appears to be an excellent rebounding guard and a good shooter.

Luke is a better defender than I thought.

Grady is having difficulty adjusting to the Peyton-less team. Grady played the Robin role last year, now he's Batman and the other team is focused on him.

And JAG is even better, much more assertive on O.

The great news is that we are 4-1 while still learning and not playing great ball as of yet.

Well, they could call the game. That is doable no matter how many games you've called in a short time.

Truer words have never been spoken. The announcers get paid to provide "play by play" and "analysis". The play by play was non existent and the analysis lacking.

No matter what, let's focus on the game at hand. I have no interest in broken fingers, personal relationships with the McKillop family
or UCLA's recruitment process.

Excuses and remedies aside, these guys sucked. If I were a younger man, I'd look them up and throw them a beating.

By the way, where is Speedy? I'm fixing to have her picture placed on a carton of milk.

Collins is a revelation. Great hustle.

And as others have pointed out, we have yet to score the ball. This team could be a lot of fun as the season goes on

He's talking about ESPN announcers.

She goes by another name. Slowpoke 64 or something like that.

I fear that all the pre-season hype about Grady has not been helpful. I hope he has the patience to work with Coach McKillup. This may be nothing worse than a sophomore slump, but let's stop worrying about when he elects to go pro. If you look at the Purdue game or the second half or the Northeastern game, it becomes obvious that JAG plays a central role in making this team go.
