Our defensive rebounding is pathetic.
Tough night for Kellan. Almost as concerned about how bad it’s been defensively for him as it has been offensively.
Work in progress. The pieces are there. Just going to take a while to fit them together |

We rebounded well in the first half. We aren't rebounding at all in the second.

This Purdue team is better than 23rd in the nation, though, right?
If we can get out of this weekend 2-1 with a loss to Purdue, that’s a good outcome long term.

Not to beat a dead horse, but Davidson has 3 offensive rebounds, and Purdue has 16.

The announcers talked about Purdue travelling well. Purdue grads are everywhere. They have enough grads in NC to have a Purdue state issued license plate. You see several as you drive up and down Park Road in Charlotte.
They're extending their edge in grabbing offensive rebounds. Their guys have a better idea where the ball is going. Some guys have that knack. Steph has it. Muggsy Bogues did/does, too. |

We can't play man to man all game long and not change it up with a strong opponent. Some zone would help our rebounding and at least stop the inside play. We are trying to chase better athletes and we can't.
