Game two of this nascent season. Let's hope Bob's chiding the students in his post-game comments will have a positive effect. If I were a student and he told me to show up, I would heed the call. Of course, forty years ago, I rarely missed a game. And those were during The Wilderness Years; yet, as others have reminisced, Johnston Gym was always packed. What is wrong with today's kids?

Thought I heard there was some beef between football and basketball a couple years ago, which dramatically lowered football turnout at Belk. Was hoping this too would change under the new coach. |

Or at least they would turn out to pull for Washington and Lee. _________________ Μεγάλη ἡμÎÏα εἶναι ΛÏγξ |

Tuesday football practice ended about 1/2 hour before game time. Every football player I've ever known likes to eat. So I'm guessing most of them had other priorities at 7 pm. |

Carter
Let there be no doubt
That was a fcking sh!tty win. No one should congratulate anyone. They should be in the gym first thing
KG should stay 4 years if he can’t take over a game like that
Bigs are rusty/ frankly anyone who took a year off for injury looked out of sort
Lot of humility and hard work still needed if you think we’re going to win some high major/p5 non con games
Carter. Bless you |

Either cancel this voting now and make CC the unanimous choice, or cancel the voting rights of anyone who doesn't vote for Carter. _________________ All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for men of good will to do nothing. Eddie Burke

Carter. With his Barham-like leaping, he preserved the victory, which his Sully-like unconscious, cold blooded three-pointer won for the Cats. |
