The men's soccer team lost to Dayton 2-1 in OT. We actually led 1-0 with 13 seconds left in regulation, but a Wildcat was called for a penalty just outside the box and almost dead center of the pitch. The Flyer who took the shot managed to drill the ball between the right flank of our wall and the right post for the tying score. I have to give him credit for making a very difficult shot.

A Flyer pulled down one of our guys after the ball was struck, which did not negate the goal, but did earn him his second yellow card and automatic disqualification, so the Flyers played OT a man down. We had the best of them with several scoring opportunities in the first OT, but we couldn't put the ball in the net. They scored on a loose ball in the box with less than a minute to go in the 2nd OT.

Jaylen Thompson was tripped in the box on a breakaway, and the ref made a monumental no-call, so I really want to see the replay.
