He was funny and obviously still intended to be when being just amusing.
His accent is not so thick (and rather pleasant), but still warrants some extra attention. _________________ Μεγάλη ἡμÎÏα εἶναι ΛÏγξ |

I'd love to see Luke and Luka in action. If they are both as advertised we should be formidable. Also this post makes me think we need some nicknames cause the Luke/Luka thing is going to be confusing. |
Is "2nd Floor" already taken? |
That's a bad nickname. Just don't argue anymore. |
Yes, I think I'm OK with that. |
Just don't ask me how I am. |

How did Kellan really look/ I did not hear much in the way of analysis. I hope he has a good year - lot of pressure, a lot of focus on him. hopefully guys around him will shoulder the load and not leave him in a position where he tries to do everything. I think opponents will be more focused on him and that could lead to less effectiveness. Potentially. |

Bob was very happy with his performance, both leading up to and during the scrimmage. Said he was proud of him for not pressing and taking over. Played within the system. (Definitely my words, hope I did a decent job conveying his thoughts) |

Coach specifically talked about how not having Peyton to stretch the floor means there is as much driving room for Kellan. He was happy with Kellan. It trying to drive when there wasn’t room. I forget if he said Kellen was “excellent†or “superb†but it definitely had the tone of “don’t anyone be disappointed because he didn’t put up 20, he did what I wanted him to doâ€
He also said that all the NBA signs all hasn’t gone to Kellan’s head.
Memorable play for me, Kellan hit a step back 3 with h 1 second on the shot clock and Carter sharing his shorts. Carter really played Kellan tough whenever he was on him (Which was a lot). _________________ This is a post by BDF, not BDL. |

Carter has the athleticism and size to be a lock down defender. There's a certain rusty reigel sized role that I think he would great for.... |

I predict, CC will be filling much of the spark plug role previously filled by Rusty... |

If Carter can give JAG a rest from defending the other teams best guard for 7 or 8 minutes a game, it will be a huge benefit, with any offensive contributions during that time being gravy.
We all know that by the end of the year Kellan and JAG will be playing 38-40 minutes per game (Bob's lizard brain), but if we can keep those two to 30-32 per game early in the year, I think it will pay dividends at the end. _________________ This is a post by BDF, not BDL. |

I see DZ being more of a Rusty "replacement." I am hopeful that CC3 will be unlike any guard we have had coming in off the bench. |

Funny, Morton crossed my mind when I typed my comment. |

Recently our top 3 minute per game players have been combining for more than 100 minutes per game, but this is not how it used to be when we played in the SoCon.
I have this in tabular format if anyone wants to either see the values or wants to deconvolute and get to names. _________________ TCC - trust, commitment, care |

Where Nate is bodying into Luka hard and Luka drop step spins around him? Very Jake Cohen-esque That is undiluted Kool-Aid.
We haven't talked to much about Frampton's game. Watching it, I didn't really see anything that I thought was spectacular, but in thinking back on it, I believe he had 3 treys in about 12 or 13 minutes. That's a pretty sound scoring clip. We'll be in good shape if he averages 18 a game.
The end of shotclock 3 by Kellan that I mentioned earlier is at 1:03.
Kellan's layup at about :32 looked like traveling to both my son and I in real time. I'm guessing Carter blocked the first shot, though it is hard to see how he could have from the position he is in (and the ball is off screen on the video). _________________ This is a post by BDF, not BDL. |
