Good 2-0 win at UMass today, with 2 second-half goals by freshman Lucas Hauth.

Matt started 5 freshmen and 2 sophomores, 3 juniors, and 1 senior today.

We are now 4-0-1 in the conference, currently tied with VCU for 1st place with 13 points. URI is in 3rd place with 12 points (4-1-0). Our RPI ranking took a hit with the tie at LaSalle, dropping us from #44 to #66. URI has climbed to #13 in the RPI rankings, St. Louis is #40, VCU is #45, and Fordham is #59. UMass is #158, but they beat Fordham on the road last week, so this win will help our RPI.

Next up, Fordham at home on Saturday at 7:00. Win that one, and we can finish no worse than 5-2-1 and should be a lock for the tournament. Watch the Red and Black scrimmage, hang out at the Brickhouse for a couple of hours, then head to the soccer pitch and cheer on the Cats.
