Final 3-2 Cats inthe OT. We controlled play for most of the match, outshot them about 20-10, but trailed 0-2 for most of the 2nd half. A goal at 84 minutes gave us life, and the tying goal came with about 90 seconds left. GW almost won it on a 2 on 1 breakaway in OT, but Sawyer charged out of the box and made a brilliant save. We finally put it away after about 7 minutes of OT. Good win.

I can't say enough about Sawyer Gaffney's save in OT. GWU had a 2 on 1 break, but one of the Davidson backs managed to cut off the passing lane to the second attacker, making it mano a mano between Sawyer and GW's Oscar Haynes Brown, the A10's leading scorer. Sawyer charged out to reduce the angle and smothered the shot about 10 feet inside the box ... just a brilliant save. There was a group of 6 GWU fans, probably parents, sitting just to my left, and they were very loud throughout the second half, although a little less loud after our first goal with 6 minutes to go, and pretty quiet after our 2nd goal tied the match with 90 seconds to go. When GW got the breakaway, I heard one of the guys say, "We're gonna score," and I had no reason to doubt it. After the play, the same guy yelled, "Nice try, Oscar," and I yelled, "Nice save, Sawyer." We smiled at each other, and I never heard anything more out of them, as it was pretty much a foregone conclusion that GW was not going to win, and they didn't.

The video highlights only seem to play using Google Chrome, at least on my computer. I tried IE and Firefox without success.

Likewise, cannot access it on Firefox, but maybe that ties into why I also can't get LiveStats.
