I'm proud of Waitress. He didn't highlight the part where A. O. Praises librarians as the best people on earth. |

I’m really enjoying the book. Should be required reading for any AD candidate. _________________ That didn’t happen.

And if it is, that’s not my fault.

And if I did…
You deserved it.

I just finished Amanda's book. I was enraged that any Davidson student would have a "teacher" (assistant coach) taking up cell phones at curfew time. My son and I agreed that one of the things that meant so much to us about Davidson is the fact (in most cases) that students are expected to live up to their individual responsibilities without proctors or 'minders'. No wonder that team had such disappointing results, they were not allowed to trust themselves and each other.
But, to another point, it should also be required reading for the current coaching staff. Perhaps they would not learn anything new, but they need to hear the private attitudes expressed so eloquently. _________________ Pi Rho Alpha-"Whatever It Takes" |

Maybe our coaches in that era owned alarm clock stocks. |

More likely they thought they had to treat young adults like kindergarteners. _________________ Pi Rho Alpha-"Whatever It Takes" |

I enjoyed the book as well. Thank you, Amanda.
According to one of the reviews, that's the author at age 4 on the cover. _________________ ...coming out of the murky, dreary jungle of untutored mediocrity. |
