My senior year I used to get paid WS to be night mgr at the union. This meant drinking beer in the 900 room and playing bridge from 10 pm to 1 am three nights a week. When one particular cute freshman girl would come by near closing time to rub my shoulders while the game was going on, I remember thinking that life was pretty good.
Four decades of life experience later, I think I can say -- hail yeah, thems was damn good times.

I get the sense that Northwestern is in the best position for him but we're working our tails off and want him badly. |

Congrats to Carter Collins and his East Chapel Hill teammates. Last night, they lost to Northern Durham to drop to 9-1 in the conference. But tonight they beat Cardinal Gibbons on Carter's Senior Night. The last regular season game is this weekend against Durham Riverside.
