There is a post saying Platek is expected on a certain date in the recruiting thread.
His name is not mentioned again in the recruiting thread or the camp thread until my post. Those of you who have been able to attend are leaving us hanging. It may be old news, but until someone posts something about seeing him or his visit it is still news.
So, WFTC, don't leave us hanging. All I've heard yet is his Tweet that he had a good time. |

I think he was mentioned in the camp thread as DNP. He did visit Chapel Hill and Davidson. He had a tight schedule, so he left in the afternoon rather than driving home at 10:30 pm. I was told not to read anything discouraging into his not staying to play that night. I did not see him around (so he probably didn't eat lunch at Toast), and I did not get a report on the visit from anyone in position to know how it went. And if I knew anything specific from someone in the know, I wouldn't be in position to repeat it. I'm glad to see that he said he had a good time.

Not a lot out there on this guy; it was all I could do to find out where he went to school. I believe this constitutes public info but I don't want to run afoul of the board, so strike this if it is a bit premature. |

This is unusual since it hasn't been reported beyond the kid himself and one source without many followers, and there is very little information available on him. For what it's worth, the source also said we are expressing interest in guard Taelor Hawkins from Texas as well: https://twitter.com/Dmphoops/status/743524474746658822
