He's about to blow up. Hopefully he will hold a special place in his heart for the school that produced his idol, and that has similarly seen his talent & ability from the get go.

Which article listed Curry as his idol. Couldn't find anything

He's mentioned it in hoopseen articles, but Hoopseen revamped their site yesterday and I think some of the articles are lost (like this one, also his player page on the site says there are zero articles on him when there have been at least two) http://www.hoopseen.com/news/headlines/item/4217-kellan-grady-hints-at-a-top-three

When Grady comes to Davidson, he can have Steph's number in the mirror, Sully to all who look on.

For those of you following this closer than me:

Obviously, snagging Kellan Grady would be a a big deal. What are the chances of us getting one - or maybe both - of the other guys?

Andrew Platek is a 4-star SG (http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/andrew-platek), and Tomas Murphy is a 3.3-star PF (http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/tomas-murphy).

Like the Bootz-Jordan Downing situation, if one guy really, really likes the idea of playing basketball at Davidson, and commits - is it feasible that he convinces his friend(s) to do the same?

I believe Davidson has been involved with these guys for some time. I think it is possible, if one comes another may follow.

As of now, Davidson is in the top 3 for one of these players.

Is this per a link? Murphy seems like a Florida commit. p

I think Donovan was the familial hook for Murphy. He's gone, so who knows?

I can only worry about one savior at a time.

If i've learned anything from following recruiting, it is that "package deals" rarely, if ever, work out. I think following college football recruiting over the last year I have heard of about 10 instances of high school teammates and best friends vowing to go to the same college as the other... only one instance did this come to fruition, and this is a sport that has many more roster spots than basketball.

I would always take package deals with a grain of salt (not saying that it is impossible however)

Did you come to Davidson with a high school teammate?

Jay Powell came a year after Rogers.

People on this board could help out the Brown applicants.
