Back-of-the-envelope scholarship count: Davidson gets thirteen scholarships. Nevertheless, this should be a cautionary tale for HS kids. In this age of instant infamy, they must be ever-vigilant about their reputation. Not even Snapchat makes them safe from incidents like this.

Seems like a few days suspension was just about right. Kids have no perspective. They think they are hanging out with their friends when they are online. They don't consider that what they publish is public and permanent. administrators who deal with these issues should also have some perspective lest they get caught up in their self-importance. after all, they are the ones who have a developed prefrontal cortex. |
