As The (CofC) World Turns- Day Too Many To Count:
The search committee sent two names to the school president last Thursday. Today, six days later, both Mike Young and Anthony Johnson removed their names from consideration.
Four other candidates were interviewed, and Bobby Cremins' name came up as a potential interim coach. Who knows where they go from here? |

I heard earlier in the day that Young was out. I figured that was a sure sign that Johnson was the man. But he's out, too? Outstanding. _________________ "McKillop is a gentleman. He could have played 'name that score' if he so desired."---St Joe's fan |

"Recently released video footage" It is always important to document your crimes on video so you can share it with friends who turn you in later. I am assuming that recording yourself is part of committing pranks now.
I am glad this technology didn't exist when I was in High School. |

My freshman year was marked by one of the all-time great Davidson pranks, which made the AP newswire and got picked up by papers across the country. Late one night, certain students of the school, affiliated with a fraternity which will go unnamed here, removed the doorframe from the Post Office and rolled a Volkswagen Rabbit belonging to Bill Scouten '89 into the lobby. The mystery pranksters then left insufficient postage on the windshield, along with Mr. Scouten's name and address, replaced the doors, and left.
Here's the story, preserved on Google for eternity:

I am quite certain that these days, we'd - er - they'd have all been tracked down by video and arrested for some kind of Homeland Security violation, kicked out of school and interrogated at Gitmo. _________________ "When Davidson’s offense is clicking, the reads upon reads of its motion offense unfold like some masterful concerto." - SLAM Magazine. 10/27/15 |

I worked at Camp Susquehannock in PA. Charlie Slagle and his brother worked there, as did John Haskell '81. One summer counselors took a float from the lake and rowed it to shore, drove another counselor's Beetle on it, rowed the float back out and reanchored it. The perps had been drinking and didn't even set the parking brake. |

I would include a link to wire service report HERE, but you all know I can't. Anyway, Chase Johanson, now attending UNCW, has filed suit against his former high school bb coach for lack of playing time from his soph thru senior years. Unspecified damages and injunctive relief sought. Aren't lawyers swell, and useful? |

Direct quote from the website of the lawyer for the plaintiff. Apparently, his website building software has a less robust spell-checker than this message board (and no checker for appending useless modifiers - or whatever, I was not an English major - to the beginning of a sentence). |

His job if he wants it. Probably won't hear if he took it until Tuesday. _________________ www.DavidsonPhotos.com
