The school with the most all-time Academic All Americans (26) is Illinois Wesleyan, which I easily could have predicted.
I wonder if one of them was Jack Sikma.

Sikma was an Academic All American.
The same year Jack Sikma graduated from high school, Davidson went to Illinois and signed 6'9" Steve Trugsnich.
He never played a varsity game for Davidson and transferred to Davis & Elkins after his sophomore year.
Sikma might have been a little better.
Sikma wasn't under a rock. He made the all state team in 1973, as did Tom Dore in 1975.
