Maybe Fedora is right- there may be a plot to destroy America as we know it?

PJ was also accused of assaulting a high school player after pickup game before he was picked in the NBA draft. The Bobcats/Hornets went to a lot of trouble to secure the rights to PJ, but didn't keep him long.

Maybe they thought he could do double duty driving the team bus. (PJ was once arrested going 100+ on I-85 after the arrests in the rental cars.)

PS. The Greensboro News/Record's story mentions PJ is "retired". That's enviable for a 25 year old.

On one of those traffic stops, didn't officers find a handgun beside the vehicle? That guy is a fine example of the Carolina Way.

That refreshes my recollection. The reason given for the firearm was Hairston was in a "Paper Class" entitled "Exercising Constitutional Rights". PJ was researching his 2nd Amendment Rights.

Despite the negative publicity surrounding the arrest, PJ was able to submit an acceptable term paper on the 3rd Amendment and the Court cases citing it.

Santos is the fourth SLU player and third transfer to leave the program in the last six months after committing violations. Three of those players were penalized last season after a Title IX investigation and eventually transferred.
"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''

Somestimes I think ol DU’s greatest blessing is not having grad programs, lest the academic circle jerk take hold

I wonder if CA is getting 70s flashbacks about Joe Williams' Furman teams when reading these SLU pieces.

It won't be long before we eliminate "disciplined" as the go-to modifier for the Billikens.

I don't know about that. It seems to me that they are being disciplined with some regularity.
