Manie. He was ready to bring the house down on that breakaway. Sadly college hoops does not have a clear path foul rule. I hope we get to see an open court dunk from him soon!
Re: Colt 45 Award: Richmond
Easy one for me. Hunter locked people down. We had some brief runs where our tallest guys were Hunter and Bobby. And they did fine.
Manie left me wanting more minutes for him.

Hunter gets my vote today. Did work on the defensive end and boards.
Can’t help feeling that if Manie had gotten a few more minutes he would have popped the cap on the 40.

Edge to Hunter for this round. 5 boards in 20 minutes and all around hustle on defense.

Re: Colt 45 Award: Richmond
I didn’t notice Hunter was in the game. I did notice Manie.
Re: Colt 45 Award: Richmond
Hunter got subbed in for defense and out for offense in the closing minutes of the game.

Hard one to call but I’ll vote for Hunter. But I would not be upset if an extra one got pulled for Mannie as he also was great today.

As this season winds to close, to anyone who may get a chance to converse with young Mr. Joses, be sure to tell him how much we have enjoyed watching his development this year, as well as how very much we look forward to seeing him back at Belk next year.
"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''

Re: Colt 45 Award: Richmond
Just caught up on the parts of the game I missed. Manie for me.
Re: Colt 45 Award: Richmond
Manie made some big plays in the first half that helped us stay within striking range.
It was similar to the game at Richmond. We stayed close and used our strength at some positions to take the lead late and finish them off.
Manie!

Re: Colt 45 Award: Richmond
Just based on the eye test, I was planning to vote for Manie. Looking at the box score, and seeing the arguments posted here, I have changed my mind. Particularly persuasive to me was the coaches' vote: 21 min PT for Hunter, 11 for Manie.
This does not change the outcome: Manie 6, Hunter 5.
Another frosty for Manie.
