Davidson jersey on display. And 7:50 is the funniest thing I've seen all week.
How do you find stuff like that?!?
"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''

This was one of the more enjoyable things I've watched in a while. The all-sports 3 point competition was awesome.

Steph had some threes. Warriors continued their awful stretch of basketball.

Steph is fully capable of leading a team to another championship. Kerr is not. I watched the game against Denver a few days ago ... the Dubs had a chance but Kerr decided to go small ball and Denver's size dominated the last few minutes. The Warriors had no one on the floor who could contest shots or rebounds against SF Porter @ 6'10, PF Gordon @ 6'8, or Jokic @ 6'11.

The Warriors have now lost 8 in a row to Denver. Small ball is the only answer Kerr knows.

Steph may be on mediocre teams for the rest of his career if Kerr doesn't change or retire.

On the other hand...W's won last night with (very) small ball--Green at Center, Payton and Kuminga at forwards, and Curry and Hield at guards.

The Warriors will win around 50% of their games regardless of the lineup around Steph. Small ball worked with Draymond in his prime and Looney having monster rebounding performances during their last championship run. With the current all time bigs around the NBA ... it won't work now. To challenge for a Western Conference title or beat the Celtics they need a a very good 4/5 player added to the roster ... and a different coach. They have plenty of trade bait.

I am OK with a trade. As I have indicated before, I am also OK with Kerr. He is a high-character guy who can (and has) attracted some exceptional talent to the team. I am less certain about his X's and O's, but I am less certain how much of a difference such skills make in the NBA where--seemingly--personnel skill and keeping players connected to a common goal appears to be paramount. (See, for a negative example of this, the Philadephia 76ers.)

Cat Forever, of course, is also a high-character guy.

For the record, I also believe Kerr is a good man. He was lucky to inherit one of the greatest basketball players of all time along with 2 HOFers and an allstar (Iggy) ... then acquire a 2nd all time great player. He is overrated as a coach, IMO. That's all.

Can anyone name an outstanding player who has developed under Kerr? I can see a couple of potential outstanding players who may yet develop in spite of their coach.

Steph improved. Klay improved. Draymond improved.

Numerous bargain players had a good year or two and became too expensive for the Dubs.

Steph is 822 above Harden. Klay has almost caught Reggie Miller for 5th. Hield has passed 2000 and is 17th.

And the Warriors lost again yesterday.

I’m sure that was satisfying for Klay.
