16th means 2 teams are below you in the new and improved ACC. Cal and Stanford are good bets to be 17th and 18th, along with SMU.
Lucas Taylor of Syracuse is playing at his 3rd school. Davidson really wanted him when he was in high school.

UC San Diego will be playing their 5th season of D1 basketball.
They should be in the upper echelon of the Big West Conference, along with UC Irvine and UC Santa Barbara.
