That's great. Two were seniors and not a surprise. The third is addition by subtraction.bvgerd wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2023 12:36 pmAccording to this website which tracks the transfer portal, Chloe, Cam, and Kelby are in the transfer portal https://wbbblog.com/womens-basketball-t ... 2022-23/4/

Kelby does not show up on this transfer list, which also tracks wbb transfers:TiredCat88 wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 12:32 amThat's great. Two were seniors and not a surprise. Also, it's extremely unbecoming and just flat out mean to talk about a student athlete like this.

Re: Transfer portal
Sorry, but it's not personal. Unfortunately shes been injured and only played 90 minutes in 2 years. She's not likely to play much in the future so if she thinks moving on is in her best interest, then it frees up a scholarship for us to get someone that will be able to be on the court. If she decides to stay then I'm happy to support her. Based on the other posting, it said she was in the portal. Gaining the scholarship back would help to add someone who will be able to play. If she wants to finish at Davidson, then I would support that as well. A majority of programs "encourage" kids to leave and don't renew their scholarships. I would never suggest that a Davidson do that, but if someone's decision to leave is best for both parties and she's the one making the decision, I'm not going to shy away from it helping us.RichmondCat wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 4:20 pmKelby does not show up on this transfer list, which also tracks wbb transfers:TiredCat88 wrote: ↑Tue May 02, 2023 12:32 amThat's great. I appreciate the clarification and I am sure she wanted to be on the court more than you or I know. From everything I have seen, she has been a great teammate and I think she could be a valuable contributor. She had a decorated high school career and I hope she makes it onto the court and stays healthy whether that is at Davidson or elsewhere.

Congrats to Kelby, hope things work out well for her in Kansas City and that she is able to get more playing time.
