Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
We have11 on scholarship. 3 are seniors. I’ve heard nothing about if any are choosing to take advantage of the extra season available to them.

Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
for some reason CBS broadcast Colorado St. v. San Diego St. on Saturday.
Colorado State's best player was one of our highly sought after recruits, David Roddy. He was an excellent HS football player in Minnesota.
Roddy is 6-5, 250. When he gets his hands on the ball, no one takes it from him. Think of a more athletic De'mon Brooks. Boy, would I love to have David Roddy.
In his CSU biography, it says he chose the Rams over N'western and the Minnesota Gophers, so perhaps we weren't close, despite how much we wanted him.
Adam Thistlewood is an excellent shooter for CSU. I think he was once on our long and very unofficial interest list.

Much more than that, we had offered and had an official visit scheduled: https://www.basketballcolorado.com/2-of ... istlewood/
Ended up committing to Drake after his official there/before our scheduled visit, and then followed Medved to Colorado State.

Pretty hard to leave Des Moines once you have been there. Just captivates.CatsUpNorth wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 7:00 amMuch more than that, we had offered and had an official visit scheduled: https://www.basketballcolorado.com/2-of ... istlewood/

If anyone missed Saturday's game with Roddy and Thistlewood, Colorado State plays San Diego State at 9:00 on FS1.

Kyle Braun recently did an interview in which he mentioned recent contact from Davidson. He went on to say “I’d love to go to Davidson.” He also mentioned that he has a German passport, which likely makes a European pro career more feasible (if he doesn’t make the NBA).

Go to around 39:30 for brief Davidson mention (as detailed above).

Jamie Kaiser's high school has 4300 students. He might have trouble adjusting to a college that is less than half as big as his high school.
During his visit, we could have students who don't have classes in Chambers at the time crowd into the hallways between classes to make him feel at home. Students can be issued wigs, eye glasses, and other props so he won't realize what's going on when he passes them multiple times.
My sophomore year I attended a high school with 2300 students in 3 grades. It now has 1700 students in 4 grades.
