News of the Weird used to do a thing on problematic middle names. I believe Wayne was perennially at the top of the list.

I saw that a guy was sentenced to life imprisonment for stealing somebody’s hedge clippers. He was recently pardoned after serving only 22 years of the sentence. His middle name is Wayne.

No, I think the owner caught him with it, so he didn’t get to keep it.

He did have a criminal record, and with a middle name of Wayne, they figured he was a habitual criminal. So we have been a safer society by his being locked up for 22 years. I’ve now hired a yard guy, so I don’t need to live in fear now that this guy is out.

The case is similar to that of the kid in California who got life for stealing a slice of pizza. I don’t know what became of him.

The Kool-Aid list reflects publicly available sources, typically internet recruiting or social media sites (e.g., Rivals.com, Verbalcommits.com, Twitter, etc.), and published reports. The list is maintained for entertainment purposes only. It contains no information received from coaches or recruits. It should be updated approximately every five pages.

I find it odd that we have zero reported offers for this year. I know we play our cards close to the vest, but kids are all over social media so offers are often reported. I wonder if the fact that kids are not visiting campuses like normal has just slowed everything down.

Also, there is a lack of bigs on the 2021 list. We only graduate one PF so we don't need many, but I expect we'd like to replace Bates. I guess we are in contact with several, here and abroad, so this probably means next to nothing.

Well, it has been publicly reported that we offered Ford, Brizzi and Taylor. I don’t remember seeing public offers to Lanier or Huffman last year until right around commitment.
