Team Curry played a couple of games this past Sunday at the LBI Top 100 in Fort Mill. They won the first game by 22, no idea what happened in the other game. Attempts to Periscope the games were submarined by unavailable WiFi at the host facility.

Fret not. You'll likely get at least one more chance to watch Team Curry, as they will be back in action this coming Friday through Sunday at the War Games Fall Finale in Atlanta.

Peak Performance 2021 Miller will be there, too. They've played in some tournaments fairly recently and, as best I can tell, Tomisin has not played in those tournaments. We'll see.

The most recent schedule says that Team Curry will play a team called West Coast Premier tonight at 9:45 pm. Publicly available information indicates that it will be 'scoped.

Next up will be FBC United, Saturday at 2 pm, in their other pool game. Third meeting this season, IIRC. They split the first two.

Bracket play for Team Curry's division will begin Sunday.

Peak Miller's division has no pools, just a big bracket. First round game is Saturday at 8 am, against FBC Carolinas Elite. No eye deer if Tomisin is playing.

Team Curry falls to West Coast Premier in a nail-biter, 49-45.

After spending two days finally coming up with a coherent schedule, they changed it again late today. Team Curry will play a total of four pool games in what is now a 9-team pool.

Sat. 6:45 pm 5 pm ET FBC Bounce Nation 2021 Jay. These two teams played earlier this summer in a contentious game won by Team Curry.
Sun. 11 am ET FBC United. Third meeting this summer. They split the first two.
Sun. 1:50 pm ET FBC Playmakers.

Did you know that you can watch Davidson Day girls volleyball on Periscope?

Peak Miller lost their early morning game to FBC Carolinas. Next up for them is (evidently Socialist) Team Free Money at 2:30 pm ET today.

Free Money over Peak Performance by 6. So much for Capitalism.

Next game is at 8 pm against GA Jags. Still no idea if Tomisin is playing, but I'm guessing no.

Team Curry over Bounce Nation, 53-21. The game was moved up. Sunday schedule still the same.

A single point was scored over the last five minutes of that game. Team Curry scored it. One of the Bounce Nation misfires was a run-out dunk attempt by a 5'10 player -- barely missed it.

Peak Miller with the big win over GA Jags, 61-40. They'll play tomorrow morning at 9:30 am against FBC Bounce Nation 2021 Kay -- as opposed to 2021 Jay.

Peak Miller over 2021 Kay in a walkover, I think. The final score is listed as 2-0.

Team Curry's first game was moved up to 11 am. They got dismantled by hot-shooting FBC United, 73-54.

Their final game is now scheduled for 3 pm against TN Flight.

Team Curry wins 64-42 over TN Flight, who were previously unbeaten (against a very soft schedule) at this event.

I think that might do it, AAU-wise, for our three 2021's.

Walton HS (Tomisin) has already played several football games, and Davidson Day School (Mallorie) has already played a volleyball match or two. So some high school basketball seems likely.

October has been a great month for this thread the last couple of years. The trend continues...

Noteworthy...

Keeley played for the bronze medal winning Victoria A side at U20 AUS champs in 2020, at which she averaged 8 rebs and 12 pts. She also played for for the Victoria Metro side that won the gold medal at U18 AUS champs in 2019.

Also on Keeley's resume are invites to the Basketball Without Borders Asia camp in Japan in 2019, and at least one Australian national team camp.

In 2019, Keeley played for the Diamond Valley Eagles team in the Youth Championship Division of the Big V league, where she averaged 10 pts and 7+ rebs. This is a strong competition -- there is no shortage of top young players in Victoria. She was also set to play for this team in 2020, but I believe the season was overcome by COVID.

Keeley is on the Diamond Valley women's roster for the 2020 NBL1 season. That season was also canceled. You'll recall that Cassidy Gould played for DV in the SEABL prior to coming to Davidson. Hopefully, Keeley will get a chance to play in NBL1 in 2021.

Didn't find any readily available highlight vids. I'll see what I can do. 8-)

Not a lot of U20 vids out there. The two I found were pretty good.

So this may be short, but it's sweet. And floor level to boot.

Every one of her shots comes from shoulder level or above. Not a single waist-level scoop shot in the bunch. And that looks like some solid competition. Excellent addition to the Wildcats.
