No limit on stupid
Re: No limit on stupid
Years ago MJ was asked who he wanted on his ultimate pickup team. He chose Olajuwon, Magic, Worthy, and Pippen.
Recently he was asked if he would now change any of these. He said he wouldn’t change any of them. These are the guys he played with and against and knows the best. Then he said Steph isn’t a hall of famer yet- emphasizing that all his chosen guys are.
Until I hear more I’m taking this more as a statement of fact rather than an assessment that Steph hasn’t done enough to merit HOF selection already.

Implicature. It's pretty clear that Jordan meant if Steph retired today, he (Jordan) wouldn't consider his career Hall of Fame-worthy.
Jordan is entitled to have thoughts, of course. It was a great thought. Not well thought-out though, yet. It wasn't.

In context that is not clear to me.
Re: No limit on stupid
I'm saying MIchael Jordan could play basketball, but that he isn't great at evaluating talent, coaching, being a team owner, etc.

That would have been a better way for us to get the ball in bounds on Monday night.

If not done pro se, then another reason to hate trial lawyers - guy definitely took the stupid injection because the pill was too slow.
