Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
I don't ever go to watch the elite camp, but I think some fans do, or have in the past. I don't know how or why I would be likely to run into anybody to get general drift from it, but I think I have heard a bit in the past.
Does anybody know offhand what players we have or have had recently on the team who had been to the camp?
I got the impression from Bob a few years ago that it is a good way for him to find out who is coachable (and more importantly perhaps, who is not).

anyone know if we have ever shown interest in Ricky Lindo, SF? Playing at NMH as a post grad. St. Louis recently offered him, last year he had some tepid interest from Georgetown but primarily Ivy interest. He seems like a great athlete - sometimes I know that's not enough if he cant shoot.
Heck maybe we should hire Dell to be an asst coach and just be shooting mechanics focused. Seemed to work well over a 4 year period for Steph.

I think he made an unofficial visit to the school and to his former teammate and future All-American, KG.DCA06 wrote:anyone know if we have ever shown interest in Ricky Lindo, SF? Verbal Commits says we have offered a PG from Argentina in the Class of 2019. Has Francisco Farabello been mentioned previously in the 245 pages of this thread? I'm too lazy to look back.

Although he is Argentinian, he attends school at the NBA Global Academy in Australia, which I have never heard of (I've actually heard of Australia, but not the Academy). Very interesting web site.

"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''

Hair, handle, hesitation. I really like his game.
You have to watch the whole highlight video to see him, but Max Beati, #55, is a player. 6'8, 340 pounds. He's going to be an offensive lineman at Brown.

Well, there's this new post prospect. Really tall. CC approved hair. Hopefully we get on him before he blows up.
