She wore #13 on her recruiting visit and looked great in it.

Wildcats have just received a commitment from Adelaide Fuller.

She is a '19 and is listed at 6-3. Spen the last year at Basketball Australia's Centre of Excellence. She is a U17 Sapphire Finalist and attended the 2017 PBR Exposure Australia Camp.

Great news, Derek. I have been hoping for a commitment from a post player, our biggest need ( no pun intended).

And I meant to add what a positive sign that our coaching staff is getting after recruiting with two commitments already, a 6'1' forward and now a 6'3" post player.

We only have 12 players currently listed on the roster with three seniors. I assume that we might add two more commitments to build toward a full roster of 13 scholarship players.

And perhaps we'll have a player return from illness.

So there was this tweet back in early February:

Cameron was on various Indiana All-state teams as a junior.

More terrific news. Welcome, Cameron!

Thanks, Derek. Like adding a scorer with 3-pt shooting ability.

Btw, H/T to Derek, for his retweet of one of the tweets above.

Wildcat Ready Elite Camp took place this past weekend. There were plenty of positive tweets by the high school players who were in attendance.

I believe that 2019 signee Peyton Carter was at camp. I wonder if Cameron was there, too.

Anyway, time for some Kool-aid.

If my calculations are correct, the 44-point game with 12 triples was sophomore year.

Enjoyed the highlights! Nice shot. Like her ability to go left or right. Excellent court awareness. Sets up her teammates.

A comment below one of the tweets said another New Castle player came to DC- circa 1964. That’s before my time. Anybody recall this?

Scott Sinnock. I don't think he played but 3 years, then left school. One of the wizards should be able to confirm. I enrolled in 1965, and I remember the name, but not much else. Here is a brief article about him in the Gastonia Gazette.

"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''

Welcom, Cameron! She made a great decision. This is a program on the rise.
