I know the 24 hours news cycle may have gone stale on this one, but it still needs to be memorialized...

Amazing how often folks go for nutty conspiracy theories. It's even more disturbing when elected officials buy into them. Kudos to the Washington Post for actually covering the Washington DC Councilman who believes that Jews are controlling the weather. Although now that I think about I wonder what Larry Horowitz is doing these days.stevelee wrote:Certainly fits the topic, right up there with the folks who claim that the Sandy Ridge massacre was a hoax. The lies aren't the stupid, but believing them is.

He did have a knack for the offensive boards. He also could stand under the basket and dunk ten in a row.wildforthecats wrote:He is still the Garbageman Supreme.Steve Rodgers wrote:Amazing how often folks go for nutty conspiracy theories. Damn, talk about your heavy hitters. "Charlie Walbridge, a Bucknell University student in the late 1960s and early 1970s who joined the Penn State Outing Club to learn paddling from faculty adviser John Sweet, a national champion, called the decision “appalling” in a post on the club’s Facebook page."

There is no one better suited to assess risk than Charlie Walbridge. http://charliewalbridge.com/index.htm
