All-righty, then. I sit corrected (but correction by a wizard is a wonderful thing....)
CORRECTION: Cleveland Rocks!

This picture is Cleveland. Dime beer night. I was there, as was Jay Powell. As is typical, much of what is written about it is untrue.

As much as I hate to disagree with the esteemed Captain America (much less with wftc), the image he has posted is not of Cleveland. It is old Comisky Park in Chicago. Note the distinctive scoreboard, the light standards, and the foul pole.

Here is the Municipal Stadium (aka "The Mistake by the Lake") scoreboard.

Perhaps he and Jay Powell had more beer than they remember on 10 cent beer night in Cleveland.
EDIT: Note - I am referring to the picture in Cap's post of Aug. 6. I can't see the picture in his Aug. 9 post; when I click on the icon I get a broken link message.

I didn't really look at the pic. My comment was only that disco night was in Chicago, not Cleveland.

Does this mean that I can stand uncorrected? (Surprised Graveline hasn't had some 'leathery' comments on this subject...?).

wftc must be channeling his inner Smilin' F.
Mr. Mac gets a B for correctly identifying the event, and an A+ for his opinion of disco.

I humbly stand corrected, that is not Cleveland Municipal and therefore not dime beer night. I pulled the image from a Google search of dime beer night and the picture came up, looked pretty much as I remembered it so I used it. I should know better. And as I continued looking most of the pictures were from the Disco night in Chicago. Go figure.

That was fun. Thanks. My trips down Memory Lane, of late, have been more like negotiating Lombard Street--without brakes.

They are stalling. I don't know how that helps. I don't know Bubba but he seems to full of it.

So if they keep coming up with violations, they can put things off forever?
