Indoor Track A-10 Championships

What happened? We came in DFL on the men's side. Totally unexpected. Didn't even put a competitor up in a bunch of events.

I think flu, yes. Jayden Smith and Josh Hardin top the A-10 performance lists in the 60H and 400 for 24, but neither participated yesterday. Isaac Bynum still won the 60H for the Cats, but without Jayden and Josh the point totals were going to be very low. With those guys the Cats would have been in the fight for 4th to 7th.

As it was, they were actually not dead last. The men were tied with Lasalle for 9th of 15 A-10 schools. St. Bonaventure competed but did not score. GW, Richmond, Duquesne, GW all done some indoor track this year, but didn't send men to the championship. Dayton appears to not have men's track at all.

It's going to take a while for the Cats to recover from last year's graduating seniors, who had propelled the Cats to 3rd last year.
