Whoever coaches us on draws has done a great job. We've won every draw in the 3rd. We've won 16 of 23 so far tonight.

9-12 after we had a goal erased on a penalty and Coastal scored on the power play. Still 3 minutes left in the 3rd.

Enjoyable game. I picked it up late in the first half, so it has been going very well for the Cats since I tuned in. Looking forward to the 4th quarter.

9-18. Hat tricks all over the place. 6:37 to play. Great win.

I learned tonight about "dropping the stick." At first, honestly, I thought it looked a bit like taunting. As I saw the referees pick up, examine, and return the stick to the goal-scorer, it seemed as though it was a formal part of the game. In looking up the practice, it appears to be more respectful tradition. Even though I grew up in a hotbed of Lacrosse (central New York), I was unaware of this tradition until I watched our ladies against Coastal. Still learning....

Maybe we're auditioning to join the ACC after FSU, Carolina, and Clemson depart.

We're showing them our minor sports can handle travelling to the West Coast.

We lose to the Battling Bakkes of UC-Davis.

It's a very good academic school.

We played VCU last year and won 8-7 in OT.
We arrived tonight with the Wildcats up 2-6 in the 2nd. It's halftime now and we're up 2-10. New stadium is nice. The light show when we score is cool. Bathrooms are nice. Some fans left at halftime. Concessions might have kept a few here, but we never have lacrosse concessions. Sure would have been nice for the facility opener.

Lovely weather. I left, and am now having no luck getting them over ESPN+. St. Joe’s vs. Seton Hall is coming in loud and clear, as does SMU vs. Indiana State. I’m not watching it, but I see that Loyola Chicago is losing badly at halftime to Bradley.

With a small crowd of folks there, there was nowhere to park. I didn’t explore the end of the small gravel lot. I parked in the soccer lot, where there were a few spaces, uncharacteristically. The 0.4 mile walk was pleasant in the spring weather. For the dedication I might Uber from home unless there is a better option. A classmate will be visiting. Are there any plans for parking in football season?

Now I can see the lacrosse game. Good picture, good score: 4-16 with a Wildcat score with 2 seconds left in the 3rd quarter. The sunset looks nice, too.

Mention was just made of our graduates going on to grad school at ACC schools. Now 4-17.
