Starter left when he walked a batter with 2 outs. Reliever gives up single, walk, single. 2-0, 2 on. Single, corners, 3-0. Finally got the 3rd out.
I do not understand that decision. Baermann was pitching very well and had thrown only 55 pitches. He had allowed 1 hit and 2 walks in 3 2/3 innings, and was throwing strikes. HPU has scored 4 runs since Dunagan came in. He has given up 5 hits and 1 walk.

Still down 4-0 in the 6th.

So now Ed Hall and his 54.00 ERA and 5.25 WHIP enters the game to start the 6th. Hall has good stuff, but hasn't been able to get it over the plate. And he gets 3 outs on 8 pitches, 7 of which were strikes.

4-1 after 6. Hooray for the wild pitch.

Top of the ninth. HPU guy walks, steals 2nd, advances to 3rd on a balk, scores on a wild pitch. 7-1

High Point just added one more run in the 9th on a walk, stolen base, balk, and wild pitch. 7-1 going to the bottom of the inning. It has not been pretty.

We got it to 7-3, bases loaded, no outs in the bottom. Rice, Jouras, Shaggy made three straight outs with no additional runs. Final.
