Looks like we played 8 full innings and lost 1-24. Not sure why we didn't bat in the 9th. Very sure it didn't matter.

We must have used the students that throw the tee shirts to the basketball fans to pitch against the Niners today.
And against the Eagles this past weekend.
That's 42 runs given up in 4 games.
UNCG beat #1 Wake Forest 4-3. It's good we don't play UNCG this year.

The good news is that freshman pitcher Cooper Cavanaugh was named A10 Rookie of the Week for his 4 innings against Morehead State.

Wake Forest has a number of players in the top 100 college prospect list. The highest rated of those, Nick Kurtz, went 0-5 with 2 Ks.
UNCG did just enough to hold on at the end. Wake is overrated.
