Baseball games have always been on ESPN+, and the quality of the first 2 games is light years better than previous seasons. We now have a camera at field level on the first base side, and the production team in the trailer seems to switch the cameras appropriately. They also have pan and zoom functions, which we have not had or didn't use in past seasons, and use them appropriately so that we can see balls that are hit into the corners, or even watch the kids chase foul balls hit out of the stadium. One of our players hit a line drive over the third baseman and into the left field corner, and not only did they catch all of that on the camera, but they showed a replay! Last year we couldn't even see the live action, much less the replay, because we didn't have a pan function or replay capability. People have commented about seeing a blown call on the replay of a Morehead State double play. We've never had replay capability before, or if we did, the production crew didn't know how to use it. One of the most annoying problems last year was that the brightness level of the video did not adapt to the changing light conditions of a night game. It was fine during full daylight, almost unwatchable during dusk, and then marginally better when the lights came on. That has been fixed. I'm ecstatic about the quality of the baseball stream now, and I have no doubt that the camera angle issue, which I had not noticed, will be fixed if you point it out in an email.
