No surprise. Might be time to just cancel the remaining games. Maybe next year we'll finally start with a sufficient roster.

I was talking with a faculty member last night and the subject of the women’s basketball team came up. He said that one class he had that day was missing about 1/3 of the students. There is flu and/or other viruses hitting a lot of the students.

It is not flu/virus related. We don't have enough healthy players. 5 players sidelined due to knee injuries as documented elsewhere. Issy went down a couple of games ago and isn't back yet and at least one other player was injured this week. Not enough to put a team on the floor and not jeopardize their health and possible further injuries. Hopefully we will get two back first of next week so we can finish the season.

I feel horrible for the players, their families, and the coaches. Weve gone from one of the best seasons in school history to one with the most awful of circumstances.

Now that the WBB game is cancelled, maybe we'll get ESPN+ coverage of lacrosse or baseball. That'd be nice.
