We've got a lot of work to do to become wizards on the women's game. It's disrespectful to Chantilly Cat to refer to us that way here.

But it's a very good and memorable week. You get the feeling they're not done making memories.

2:20 into the first quarter, Duke went up 3-6. We made it 5-6. Rosie made it 8-6 with 6:54 left in the quarter. Duke never tied or took the lead.

The second year Davidson had a women's team ('74-'75), we beat NC State in Johnston Gym. They hired Kay Yow and started taking basketball seriously.

This better get some coverage in the Charlotte and Triad media.
