Infuriating that UNC missed four free throws in a row in the final 15 seconds and got both offensive rebounds. We really had a chance to win this one. That said, being in that position at all is great. I really think this team could be good this year.

In addition to trying to decapitate whoever was defending her with her elbow, defensively Gakdeng was pawing Elle out near the 3 pont line in the first half.

Gakdeng and Elle are both listed as being 6'3", but Gakdeng appears to be much taller.

UNC's close loss to #1 Gamecocks last night makes the Davidson women's even closer loss to the Heels look that much better. (Somehow, I can't bring myself to refer to the Tarheel women as the "Holes.")

That's a point well and fairly made. My use of "Holes" isn't specific to a gender. But I'll refrain from calling any of the women's teams that. I'll try to stick to "Tarholes" for all their teams.
