Game gets crazy about 30 minutes into this video. About 5:50 left in the 2nd quarter, TCU is up on George Washington by 3. TCU misses a shot. In the rebound attempt Essence Brown gets her hand tangled in a TCU player's hair. She appears to give it a solid yank. TCU player doesn't like it, comes at Brown, throws a punch. Play is right in front of the GW bench. Multiple players throw punches. When it is over, 5 GW players are ejected and 3 from TCU.

The TCU combatant could use a martial arts class. She was enthusiastic, but ineffective. Essence Brown looks like she could scrap. GW coaches didn't cover themselves in glory. Neither did the officials. I hope no players get suspended.

In my teaching experience girl fights tended to be worse than guy fights. One stands out in my memory. A very fit guy- maybe 6’2”, 200 pounds, was returning his tray in the cafeteria. Girl A was unhappy w him- got in his face jawing and finger wagging. He started backpedaling. After he’d gone about 30 feet his present GF arrived and it was on. It took multiple faculty members and several minutes to finally break it up.

I still remember when Sally G. hit Mark H. on the playground in third grade. Hit him in the side and knocked the breath clean out of him and he went down on the ground.
