We started 4-12. 14-18 after 1 quarter. Each team has 8 turnovers. Pretty dreadful basketball by both teams. No player has more than one foul. Go Cats. Good start to the 2nd quarter. Adelaide gets 2 baskets. 18-18. I'll have to catch the rest after the Guilford game.

Nope. This is must-see TV. Great start to the quarter. Wildcats up 25-20 with 4 minutes left in the half. Tabor took an injury. Maddie is scoring, ball is moving, defense is solid. All three parts of 3 S mantra are working.

Really like the defensive intensity, were pressuring their ball handlers a lot and getting blocks with our height. I dont know how much of it is our defense/versus early season sloppiness, but a ton of forced turnovers and a couple of shot clock violations that half. Now if we could just stop turning it over ourselves and start hitting our free throws.

2 minutes left in the first half. 29-24. Rosie picks up a 3rd foul. Sub-optimal. We trade free throws.
Defense with a key shot-clock stifle. They foul on the other end. Adenupe makes 1. 31-25.
Adelaide fouls, they make one. They foul Adenupe. We aren't shooting well at the line. Missed both, and then turned them over. Final shot...we miss. 31-26.

We're 2-10 (Rosie and Maddie are each 1-1, the rest of the team is 0-8) beyond the arc, 5-13 at the line. Only 10 turnovers after 8 in the first quarter. HPU has 15 turnovers. Panthers are 5-9 at the line.

Tenacious effort here in the third quarter. Great buckets from Tomisin and Mallorie. And awesome block from issy. And Elle went to the bank to end the quarter.

Fantastic quarter to stretch a five point lead to 19 going into the fourth, 60-41. Really impressive too when Elle and Izzy have combined for just 8 points, we have a lot of players who are looking to score when theyre on the court.
