Friday at noon at our place, then Sunday at their place. Massey says we'll split. I'd take that. We are in desperate need of a win. Or just to play well. Go Cats.

As I walked down the corridor last night after the game, I heard a very knowledgeable person use the phrase "playing down to the competition."

I'd start our best players, but it doesn't matter much. The key is minutes played. It looks to me like our three best players come off the bench. One of them has been unavailable for much of the season. I'd start the other two. I'd keep Sarah's minutes high and her starting job intact. She is our glue. I think we were picked 11th. That seemed insane to me. Now it looks reasonable. We might finish better than that, but we could lose all our remaining games. Wheels are off.

I'd absolutely hand the keys to Issy and let her start the rest of the way. We have zero chance to win the regular season or the tournament. Just not enough talent. So I'd work on developing my young players. More Sallie, much more Tomisin, try to find a role for Mallorie, etc.

Interesting idea. I think I agree. Build a team for next season starting now. Get more height into line up. Fuller, Sutphin, Tomisin, Schutz, Evans.

I havent had the chance to watch many games recently, but it sounds like were still plagued with long scoring droughts on offense and high volume of turnovers. Im sure its a hard decision to make, especially with seniors playing their last month of ball, but it would make sense to me to try and focus on development of younger players or trying to add some different sets building for next year.

21-19 St Joes. Both teams hot. Brugler with 9pts and 6 boards after one quarter. Cass Gould with 10 for the Cats. I'm not watching but it appears on Live Stats that Cass is taking it to rim each time.

Oops, correction. We fouled a 3pt shooter at the buzzer. She hit all 3. So 24-19 after the first - Hawks.

After a nice start we are trying to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory once again. Fouled a three-point shooter at the buzzer.

Why do we front guard their bigs down low? We give up so many offensive boards with this scheme.

32-37 with under 5 minutes before half. Go Cats.

Refs and defense lapses letting them pull within 2.
