Confused. I thought the next game was Sat. Was this added back to the schedule? Or operator error on my part?

Have I ever mentioned that I hate the official college sports website?

ESPN+ is showing it on their schedule.
"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''

17-7 after 1Q.

Definitely on ESPN+. Good picture. Homey announcers not bad.

25-18 at the half. Bonnies began the quarter with a 9-0 run. Then Davidson started hitting again.

We clearly have Covid hangover as we look terrible. The good thing is the Bonnies look worse.

Defense OK. Offensive a train wreck right now.

Tough to get flow after a 21-day layoff.

Bonnies tie it up at 32 toward the end of the 3rd. Obviously a lot of shots not falling.

Cats win 50-47.

I can safely say that was the worst Davidson basketball game I've ever watched. The Covid pause really did a number on us.

We need to get better fast.

I’ve seen worse. The last 1:30 the lead went back and forth. Bonnies were 7-15 from the line. The final foul shots could have tied the game, but she missed the first. Davidson had a one-point lead. They kept fouling us during the closing fractions of seconds, but not in the bonus. Finally with 0.6 seconds to go, we got a pass to a shooter under the basket, so the lead wound up 3.

CorpulentCat is pretty close to echoing my sentiments. I'm remembering bad games. The other that stands out for me is the time Everett Case brought his NC State Hoosiers to play in old alumni gym. It was a slaughter, but still bright spots because we had some guys who were'n't all that bad, just not in the class for size, speed and skill as those guys. Some of them were later All Americans.
On tonight's game. I kept wondering why we didn't find ways to get the ball inside. When we did, we had success. Well, time to regroup and forge ahead.

I've seen many, many worse ones than that. Even our Southern Conference Tournament Championship loss to ASU was worse. Like fire the coach bad.

We were terrible tonight. And we got a road win. I was so happy for Cam Tabor. Didn't start. Didn't have much of a game. Was 0-2 from the floor. Gets the ball with about 15 seconds to go, trailing 45-46. Has the courage to shoot the three. Bottoms. 48-46. Winner.

All scheduled A10 games were played tonight.

I got home in time to watch most of the second half. I could watch the replay of the first half on ESPN+. Nah.

That 17-7 opening quarter was okay. Nice to see Rosie start. We'll be better on Saturday.

I couldnt watch the game, but very pleased with the result and thrilled that were playing again. It feels, especially coming off a long break, that as a team we havent quite yet locked into our rhythm but a 10-3 record to start the year is fantastic.
