Chloe W’s Mesa Ridge High School team, which competes in class 4A in Colorado, went 16-0 in conference play. All double figure wins. Average winning margin of nearly 33 points.

The Grizzlies are 20-3 overall, with competitive losses to the 2nd, 3rd, and 16th RPI-ranked teams in class 5A. They own a 7-point road win over the 13th RPI-ranked team in class 5A.

The class 4A state tournament begins Tuesday. Mesa Ridge’s first game will be in Friday's second round. Here's the bracket.

Somehow this video of Sarah K escaped my notice. She will fit right in, obviously.

Mesa Ridge came from behind to edge upset-minded Littleton, 56-55. Survive and advance.

Ninth-ranked Thomas Jefferson (22-2) is next, on Tuesday.

Mesa Ridge blitzed TJ, outscoring them 47-19 in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Final score was 72-49.

Top-seeded Pueblo West awaits Friday.

More winning news for a Friday evening...

Mesa Ridge came from 12 down in the 2nd half to upset top-seeded Pueblo West, prevailing 66-63 on the road. The big comeback avenged last year's quarterfinal loss in the state tourney.

Chloe W had 15 second half points, including the decisive bucket. Huge game from teammate Ashley Bowen.

The Grizzlies are now headed to the Colorado class 4A Final Four. They'll play 12th-seeded Pueblo South next Thursday.

Um, that sounds like the end of another game I watched tonight.

I'd like to blame Google, but this is probably me slacking off. Nice article about Sarah K, about a month old.

Mesa Ridge lost in overtime to Pueblo South yesterday. Disappointing, but the Grizzlies had a nice post-season run. Chloe had 29 pts, 10 rebs, and 5 asts.

Looking forward to seeing Chloe and Sarah in red and black. Go Cats!

I am as well. Don't we have one more scholarship to award? If so, any news on recruiting front? We need a strong post player.

Congratulations to both Sarah Konstans and Chloe Welch for making their respective All-State teams.

Sarah is 2nd-team all-state in TAPPS 6A, which is the top division of the private school association in Texas. Sarah also made 2nd team all-state last year.

Chloe is 1st-team all-state in CHSAA 4A, which is the 2nd highest division of the (public and private school, I think) association in Colorado. Chloe also made 1st team all-state last year.

Another nice feather in Chloe W's cap.

This five-player team was selected by the Denver Post, and includes all classifications. Chloe is the only class 4A player. The rest are 5A.

P.S. Yes, Fran Belibi has dunked in a game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zppDOYyz1qs

Fran has a 4.2 GPA. She is class of 2019. Would be a program maker for Cats.

We had a lady who could dunk. Unfortunately, she couldn't play basketball. Fran Belibi looks like a player.

Congrats to Chloe and Coach Fulks. I'm not a wizard, but I'm not sure I can remember the last time our women's coach recruited a "First Team All-State" player.

I think you have to go all the way back to a player named Mackenzie Latt.

Mackenzie was all-state in Wisconsin her junior year and top five in Michigan her senior year.
