Did periscope work for the first game? I forgot to check until after the game was over.

Tomisin's 2nd Friday game was moved up to 4 pm. They coasted to a 56-41 win against an overmatched opponent.

Next scheduled game for them is Sunday morning against Sallie Schutz' coach from last year.

Well, that'll generate a few tweets. Team Curry over powerful FBC United, 54-39.

Tomisin's Sunday game has been moved back to 10:15 am. It was originally set for 9 am.

Wow. Seemingly somnambulistic Team Curry with an inexplicably close game against overmatched EOTO Black today.

** They win it, though, 45-42, on Mallorie's 3-ptr as time expired.

Tonight's opponent is much stronger. Hope we're awake by then.

Sharper and more resolute focus from Team Curry this evening, as they rolled to a 64-42 win over the FBC Hoopstarz.

They'll play tomorrow at 12:45 pm against the winner of pool D, and the winner of that game will play the pools B/C winner at 3:15 pm.

The pool D winner is still TBD. I think it could still end up being Peak Miller/Tomisin, but they'd need a sizable win over a very good team tomorrow morning to make that happen.

Regardless of what happens tomorrow morning, Peak Miller will play at least one more additional game later in the day.

Beautiful shot. Don't know about that screen by #0, though.

I've noticed that these AAU refs occasionally let a few things go without making the call. Go figure.

#0 is Talaysia Cooper, a rising junior playing up a year onto the U17 team. Perhaps the top talent on that team.

After a one day vacation on Thursday, Midwest Elite/Kelby are also back in action this weekend. By my count, this is their 4th event of the season.

They're 3-1 so far in pool play, losing their rematch to the Philly Belles in the opener, blowing out two other teams, then winning a 6-pt game over a team from Michigan. They'll play their final game of the tournament this morning at 9:10 am. Perhaps these games are being live-streamed, but I haven't found them yet.

Edit: Ah, apparently Kelby's games are being live-streamed here: https://toc.bethebeast.com/btb/eventliveplus

The good news is you don't have to buy a blanket subscription. Instead you can subscribe to a single tournament. The bad news is that they want $50 for this one tournament.

$50 😳

Well, I guess if you had a child playing, and you couldn't be there.... But $50. Steep.

Peak Miller lost their game this morning, 54-43. That's puts them 3rd in pool D. They'll play a consolation game today at 3:15 pm against FBC Black JG 17u.

Tomisin scored a few in this one, mid-teens at least. She's tough to defend as a slasher now.

The team that Peak Miller lost to, FBC Bounce Nation 2021 Jay, is the pool D winner. They will play Team Curry in the championship semis at 11:30 am. Battle of attacking teams.

(Edit... fixed consolation opponent and time for Peak Miller.)

Kelby's team won their final pool game, 62-50, over a team called Tree of Hope. I think they're done for the day.

MWE was 4-1 at this event, and is something like 15-3 on the AAU season.
