Slightly misleading. I was momentarily confused. It shows six made threes. It does not show her missing one triple. It left out one made 3.

Midwest Elite over Colorado Premier, 57-56, to win 3rd place in a loaded field. Great showing for them.

Here are the eight shots that Mallorie took from the floor today: https://twitter.com/LakePointSports/sta ... 2510007296

Now for the hard part, which is figuring out where everyone will be next weekend.
That last pop-out three with 2 defenders rushing at her was very Stephenesque.

Looks like all three Teams Curry -- 17u, 16u, 15u -- will be here this coming weekend: https://basketball.exposureevents.com/1 ... -shoot-out

Haven't found anything for Peak Performance Miller or Midwest Elite. There's mounting evidence on Twitter that Midwest Elite is done for the summer season.

Two easy wins for Team Curry U17 today. First game ended up 56-35. In the second they jumped out to a 30-2 lead (familiar sounding?) and held on for a 67-14 win.

Team Curry will reportedly be in Manheim, PA, this coming Friday thru Sunday, for what looks like a pretty strong tournament called The Prime Event East.

Manheim is not far from Blue Ball and Intercourse. It's nowhere close to Indiana, California, and Mars.

Streams will be available at BeTheBeast.com. Perhaps there will be a less pricey option available. 8-)

A steamroller reference seems to be called for.

Up until about 11 years ago there used to be the Wyoming Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church in north central Pennsylvania and southern New York, so nowhere near.

Mars is relative close right now, and appears near the moon.

But not too far from Bird-In-Hand.

Mallorie's team's tournament is being held in a facility called Spooky Nook.

The entire tournament is bracketed. No pools. This means that, except for a team's first game, times and opponents are conditional. And since Team Curry has a first-round bye, they don't yet know who their first opponent will be.

Regardless of who the other team is, tip off is at 2:40 pm ET Friday.

Team Curry over the Bay State Jaguars from the greater Boston area, 60-19.

They'll play tomorrow at 1:50 pm ET against the NJ Shoreshots, who scored 78 pts and won their game by 30. Win or lose, TC will play a second game tomorrow at 4:30 pm ET.

Team Curry survived the NJ Shoreshots and a contentious fan or two, 69-62, in a Game of Contrasting Styles™. Good contest in which the refs called most of those little pushing fouls you can often get away with in girls AAU, and it's probably a good thing they did.

Next game is at 4:30 pm ET today, against All Ohio or Philly Triple Threat. I believe All Ohio is the same team that won a close game over Kelby's team in early July.

Very good opponents await TC in all three of their remaining games, regardless of outcomes.

Edit: It will be All Ohio in the next game, as they edged Philly Triple Threat, 47-43.

Team Curry fell behind 16 at the half, pulled back within 2 mid-second half, but couldn't make *any* shots down the stretch. Final, 62-71.

TC will play Sunday morning at 10:40 am ET against either the Fairfax Stars or the NJ Demons East. Should be another competitive game.

Edit: Only one game tomorrow, it appears, against NJ Demons East.

Nice being the quicker, faster team again. Team Curry used a dominant defensive performance in winning, 60-29, over a NJ Demons team that had allowed an average of 33 pts in their previous four games. This game was never close.

All Ohio won their semifinal over the Fairfax Stars. They'll play Exodus out of NYC in the final. I'll go with Exodus in that one.

Good tournament.
